Le Rox are a London-based DIY post-hardcore and punk band bringing together members originally from the UK, Brazil and Venezuela. Formed post-lockdown from the wreckage of past projects, their sound is raw, emotionally volatile and impossible to pin down, sitting somewhere between hardcore, punk and flashes of metal.
Their debut EP Homesick, captures the disconnection and chaos of being human, from anxiety and heartbreak to rage and revenge. Nothing was forced and nothing overthought. These songs were written as they were felt. The result is a cathartic collection that hits hard and bleeds honesty.
Fully self-produced and recorded DIY, Homesick reflects the sound Le Rox have been chasing since day one. “For us, Homesick is where we want to be right now,” the band explain, “It’s unfiltered and vulnerable, but it’s also furious.”
With early support already under their belt, including a BBC Radio 1 Introducing play for their single Hold Me Down, Le Rox are quickly becoming one of the UK’s most vital new voices in heavy music. They'll be hitting the festival circuit this summer with appearances at Manchester Punk Fest, Attitude Festival and Ain’t Like You Festival in Germany.
With Homesick, Le Rox delivers a statement of intent: fearless, DIY and impossible to ignore.
